Cristie Cerniglia Authentic, enthusiastic, inspiring, uplifting, humorous, compassionate, engaging, conversational, Spirit-filled, infectious, relentless. These are adjectives that describe Cristie Cerniglia and her ministry, Contagious! Another way to describe her is not easily imitated, or kept up with, or slowed down. Cristie is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. She spent 10 years selling advertising and pharmaceuticals before she and her husband Rusty decided to scale down and slow down in 2003. Since then, Cristie has focused her energy on home, family and ministry. Cristie and Rusty have been happily married for 12 years and live in Lexington, Kentucky with their three beautiful daughters. Cristie’s speaking ministry began in 1999, immediately following her salvation when she received an invitation to share her testimony. One thing led to another and now, with unparalleled enthusiasm, Cristie devotes her energies to inspiring others through a weekly 15 minute radio program called “Contagious!” on a local Christian radio station. Although topics are varied, each is designed to encourage women (and although not initially planned--men!) of all ages to actively seek God, to act on the message of His transforming love, and to become contagious to everyone they come into contact with! The program can be heard online at: www.contagiousonline.com Cristie can be contacted at: cc@contagiousonline.com |

Jennifer Pendelton Creative Marketing I am a wife and mother of two energetic preschool boys. A Kentucky transplant, I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I attended Baylor University where I received a bachelor's degree in fine arts before entering the competitive world of creative advertising. Although I left the corporate world six years ago, I enjoy applying my passion for communication, graphic design and the creative arts to everything that I do. I serve as the Deacon of Communications and lead the Youth Group activities at the non-denominational church I attend in Mt. Sterling. Retail is my new-found professional niche, and I love my new position as a Sales Floor Team Lead at Target in Lexington. When my good friend and prayer partner, Cristie, told me about CONTAGIOUS, I clearly heard the call to contribute. God has faithfully led every part of the creative process, and I can't wait to tackle the next challenge He lays before us! Being a part of CONTAGIOUS is an exciting. . . faith-building. . . life-changing experience. Contact me @ jenpen9339@yahoo.com |

Ossilyn McQuesten Contagious Ministries is God's answer to the prayers of a faithful friend and accountability partner, Ossilyn McQuesten. Ossilyn's commitment to prayer, knowledge of God's Word and encouragement have been an example to Cristie for over seven years. In 2006, before Contagious was conceived, Ossilyn heard WJMM Station Manager Ed Wright announce limited air time was available for new ministries. Three times she felt strongly led to encourage Cristie to seize this ministry opportunity. And when Ossilyn called Cristie, they were immediately encouraged by the fact that they were simultaneously sensing the same leading. As a direct result, Contagious was born! Mother of two and grandmother of nine, Ossilyn works full-time in the Graduate School Funding Office at the University of Kentucky. She has a B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky, and serves as the ministry's prayer leader, utilizing her gifts of writing and encouragement through her updates to the increasing numbers of the Contagious Prayer Team. Bruce Manley Web Support I am originally from Sharpsburg, KY and attended Morehead State University. I graduated in 2001 where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry. My career at the University of Kentucky began with teaching math courses while attending graduate school in the Department of Mathematics. In 2003 after receiving a Master of Science degree in Math, I continued to teach night classes at Sullivan University and at the Mt. Sterling campus of Morehead State University . For several years I worked at UK in the Office of Undergraduate Admission and University Registrar as an Associate Registrar. In 2009 I accepted a job with Bluegrass Community and Technical College as Director of the Winchester-Clark County Campus. I still enjoy teaching some math classes on the side, and am a faculty member for the online diploma program called Providence High School. I married my high school sweetheart, Lisa, and we now reside in Winchester, KY. We are active members of Calvary Christian Church and enjoy volunteering time to various church activities. In my spare time I enjoy creating websites, traveling, hiking, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and playing Rook. My wife would say that I enjoy being thrifty. Cristie says that she 'roped me in' to helping her with Contagious Ministries, but we both know that only God could work in such a miraculous way. I always seem to be on the same wave-length where God has her with regard to the computer needs of the ministry. I know that God has blessed Cristie with the talent and the ability to reach women with Contagious Ministries; I'm just happy that I can help. I can be contacted at: brucemanley@yahoo.com |
