Cristie,
Hey! I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your talk on
Thursday (as always). You are a very gifted speaker and
obviously very passionate about your husband, your calling,
and God!

Cristie,
Good afternoon.
I’ve been writing for the Everyday Christian Website for
about a month and really enjoyed your column on the site
today.
I also listened to your podcast for a bit and found it
interesting.
Your story struck a chord with me because I too didn’t come
to have a true knowledge of God until a couple of years ago.
To make a long story short, I had attended church most of my
adult life erratically and without any real passion. It’s a
fact my wife could easily attest to and something she
fretted about for a long time.
Through what now is clearly a connected set of events, God
led us to a different congregation in our community and that
ended up being the culmination of a process He had already
set in motion unbeknownst to me.
The time since has had a few valleys, but as I’m sure you
understand, it’s powerful to know you’re not alone.
Thanks and have a great weekend.

Cristie,
I just listened to last nights "Contagious" on "Cheerful
Giver" (I also subscribed to the podcast – great resource) –
thank you for your faithfulness to God’s Word and for your
clarity on the subject of giving. I prayed after listening
to this that God would increase your "seed" and "increase"
so that your "standard of giving" would also increase (by
the way, I love the Treasure Principle too). I know this is
an area very near to your hearts and I am thankful that God
is using you to share this with so many others!!! I also
loved how you connected this issue of giving to other "non
money" related things like forgiveness, hospitality, etc...
I am grateful as well that you pointed us back to the gospel
as the only motivation for giving!!!! Thanks for the
encouragement.
Press on in the love of Christ,
W.W.

My dear Cristie:
I kept watching my time as I went shopping today, so that I
would be in my van with the radio on for the "Contagious"
hour--I don't have a tv, radio, stereo, or working computer
at my home right now, you see. FINALLY, there I was,
settled, on New Circle Road, cigarette firmly in hand,
and--I had to chuckle. Ruefully, God has been sending me
angels to talk to me about my smoking since before 2001, and
today, he sent me another one--yourself...you talked about
not wanting to sneak one by, as Christians. Boy! Did that
resonate!
And then you spoke so eloquently and Biblically on not being
mastered. I'm driving and nodding and saying--right out loud
by myself in the van "that's me with the coffee and the
cigarettes...gosh! Praise to God! But isn't she confirming
and validating what God has brought to my attention about
what I read! Thank you God!!!"
Your attention to detail is one of the reasons that I love
to listen to you--for example--you are the only non-smoker I
know who has ever verbalized or realized a smokers fear of
being hospitalized. Another reason is how you place
scripture literally in the daily walk and talk of life--what
Dr. Robert A Cook, I believe, used to quote about "putting
the cookies on a low shelf so the children can have access
to them."
So much has gone wrong for me since my move (June of this
year) that I am very VERY grateful to God to have found
something RIGHT, and that is your ministry.
Thank you and God Bless,
J.W.

Hi Cristie,
I happened by chance on your radio program tonight while
driving. My husband and I discussed this afternoon the idea
of downsizing our house, so that we can be totally out of
debt and have more freedom to be generous in God's work.
This is a big step, of course, as I love our current house.
During your show, you shared how you and your husband
downsized and that it really wasn't difficult at all once
you had done it. It seemed obvious that God was telling me
to move forward and that this is his leading!
Thank you!
Jean

Dear Cristie,
I just wanted to let you know that I caught part of your
last program (6/29) on my way to the grocery. I've heard
your program once or twice before, but I typically am not
listening to the radio on Sunday. I just loved your
enthusiasm and the insight you had concerning the scripture
passage (dealing with how Christians are called to live). I
look forward to hearing the whole broadcast over the
internet when it gets posted, and will try to tune in more
regularly.
Thank you for sharing with us!
Sincerely,
LM

Hey! I just listened to your testimony
on contagious!!! I love hearing how God drew you to himself!
I met with "E" tonight and told her about your radio program
because she is looking for a tool to give to her sister. She
drives around for her job 3-4 hours a day. "E" is going to
download some of your programs for her to listen to while
she drives. Her sister is probably not a believer. Thank you
for being faithful to share about the Lord week after week!
You really are CONTAGIOUS! There is no other word that
describes you better! You are a blessing! I love your
passion for the Lord!

Christie, I met Rusty while he was at
my house with Steve Haskins looking at my roof. He gave me
your card and I have listened to a couple of your programs.
They are great and I just wanted to encourage you. I am
sending the website to my daughter who went through a
divorce that was not her choice about four years ago and is
a single parent of a five year old daughter. I believe they
will be an encouragement to her. Keep on keeping on!

through your resource page. Thank you so much for putting
all of this information with great explanations in one
place! I look forward to seeing what God has to teach me
through these resources. Keep up the great work and please
keep sharing what you learn along the way.

Hi Cristie,
I listened to your program today for the first time and it
really brought home a lot of feelings to me. I met you this
past Saturday at Lydia's Circle in Springdale Ohio and I
will continue to listen to your program. This Sunday my
husband Mike & I are getting baptized and your testimonial
was very inspiring. It was so much how I was feeling. I am
in my 50's and to find God finally has made so many
wonderful changes in my life. I can't thank you enough and
learning the messages of God has been a blessing to us.

Hi Cristie,
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed hearing
your radio program. You had a such a natural radio
voice. You really sounded as though you've been speaking on
the radio for some time. You offered such a great message.
I'm sure that you're testimony will be a great inspiration
to many others.

Cristie—
I wanted to take a moment to share with you what I feel is
such a blessing and it totally a result of Contagious! I was
able to share with a friend the broadcasts of Contagious!
now that they have been made available on MZCC's website.
Since having the opportunity to hear/share in the program,
she has described utter excitement, and even a feeling of
fellowship, with just sharing in the time and the ability to
tune in to the broadcasts and be a part of something her
heart has been longing for.
The impact is potentially tremendous! The message has
reached my friend in Indiana, who in turn, has shared it
with her friends. The excitement IS contagious and I feel
fortunate to have been able to offer a friend, who
specifically was feeling in need, a resource to help fill
that gap.
My prayer is that Contagious! will continue to reach out to
those who so need to hear, as it did for my friend!

Dear Cristie,
I am so excited for you and the new ministry that the Lord
has opened up for you. I wanted to take a moment to let you
know how Contagious has impacted my family.
Sunday night we sat down for a family dinner right when
Contagious was on the radio. Since our 7 year old son knows
who you are he thought it was really cool to hear someone he
knows on the radio! He asked me how you get to be on the
radio and I tried to explain to him that God had given you
an opportunity to share about Him with others on the radio
and that your church was helping you to accomplish that
mission also. We listened through out our meal and then the
question was asked, could you name all ten commandments in
the Bible? We got out our paper and pen and began to write
them down. To my amazement my 7 year old actually remembered
several, although "do your homework" and "be nice to your
friends" were not exactly on the list but they are in a
round about sort of way I guess! With the combined effort
from the 3 of us we had come up with 9 so we looked it up in
the Bible and realized we had combined 2 commandments into
one so we actually had all 10! What a great way to spend our
family dinner time and be refreshed on the commandments God
has given us.
One that really convicted me was observing the Sabbath and
keeping it Holy. When I was growing up we were not allowed
to eat out, shop, or work on Sunday. My Dad said it was a
commandment and we were not going to cause someone else to
work on Sunday either by having them wait on us at a
restaurant or check us out at the grocery... I always
thought Dad was just being too strict but now I think I will
do my best at keeping that commandment, after all, God is
telling us to take it easy and spend time with our families
worshipping Him and getting some much needed rest. It's an
order so what a great excuse to clear your agenda for the
day and enjoy all that God has blessed you with.
Thank you for your efforts and listening to the call of God,
We will keep you and your family in our prayers,
Susan

Hello Cristie,
I just wanted to share with you not only how proud I am of
you but also how much I have enjoyed "Contagious". No, I
probably am not like many of your listeners due to the fact
I do not have what you may call a permanent "church home"
and I have not read the Bible from cover to cover. Most of
the reading have taken place at church when the Minister
will ask; "please open your Bibles to....". I will go to
church and not just on holidays (smile), but not nearly as I
should. I speak and pray to God on a daily basis....a lot of
the time asking for guidance for myself, a loved one or a
friend and sometimes just to have a general conversation
about life, peace or the daily happenings.
I truly believe we have stayed in touch due to God's
assistance. I hear joy, peace and enthusiasm in your
spiritual messages. They are refreshing and full of hope,
love and an acceptance for what God can do for your life and
yourself. You are taking flight my friend and its been a
wondrous thing to see.
Your friendship and your messages have been truly
"contagious"!!!!

Cristie,
I am Ossilyn's friend, and I wanted to take a moment to drop
you a line. Ossilyn has shared the tape of your first
several spots with me and I have been able to listen to all
of the segments. I was so excited for you when Ossilyn told
me that you had started this!! It is amazing to me how
God is calling up women at a break-neck speed. How exciting
for you that God is using you in this way!! I wonder who you
have already touched with this ministry - and who you will
continue to touch.....
Also, I wanted to let you know that your excitement for the
Lord is carried through to your listeners. You are a very
gifted speaker and your testimony is one that I am sure will
resonate with many women in the Lex. area. If there is
anything that I can pray for you about specifically, please
let me know!
In Him,
Tamra

Hi Cristie!
I was on Mt. Zion's website and stumbled onto your program
schedule. I clicked on the first show and was so impressed
with the content! I plan to listen to the rest of them, as
well. Kenny Speakes was at our home last evening to talk
about a few things and he mentioned how proud he was Mt.
Zion was spending the money on Contagious! for the outreach
it is providing throughout the surrounding communities. I
don't know whether you were reading from a script or talking
from the heart, but it was very well done! Thank you for
all your efforts.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

Cristie,
All I can say is....WOW and PTL!
A co-worker gave me a tape of your testimony. I loved
hearing your radio program on WJMM. I had some "glitches" in
my day as Sara spoke of yesterday and had to do a lot of
driving in my car and do many things instead of being home.
I listened to your tape the whole time and it was such a
blessing and made my yucky day so much better!
Thank you for sharing your testimony. It made my day!
Blessings,
Beth
